Practical arrangements and safety
Together with the restaurants and cabin cafes that serve as concert venues, we want Ylläs JazzBlues to be a safe experience for all participants. The Ylläs JazzBlues festival is committed to following the regulations and recommendations from authorities, as well as the guidelines provided to event organizers. All of this is to ensure that you can enjoy your favorite artist’s concerts with peace of mind.
General guidelines for our events:
- We recommend purchasing concert tickets in advance from the Puuraja ry online store (puurajankulttuuri.fi/kauppa).
- Please allow enough time for buying tickets, arriving at the concert, and exiting afterwards.
- Please come only if you are healthy. If you experience symptoms of flu or a respiratory infection, do not attend the event.
- Maintain good hand and cough hygiene.
- If possible, prefer card payments at sales points.
- Aim to arrive at the festival and move around using low-emission means of transportation. During the festival, you will be able to enjoy some of the world’s cleanest air, and we warmly recommend walking, skiing, or using a kick sled to move from one concert to another.
- Remember that the festival occurs in mid-winter, and temperatures can be quite cold in some areas. Dress warmly and check the outdoor temperature and weather conditions before heading to the concerts.
The Ylläs Jazz Blues festival is an open and safe event for everyone, with a strict ban on any discriminatory, racist, or other demeaning speech or behavior in all circumstances.
We expect all concertgoers to follow the instructions of the event organizers and event staff.
